Back at the start of April, we mentioned that Zenless Zone Zero (or "ZZZ") had received a release window of June 2025 for Xbox, and now we know the specific date is June 6th - when it'll arrive as a free-to-play title on Series X and S.
The "urban fantasy ARPG", which has proved extremely popular on PC, PS5 and mobile over the past year, will be launching for Xbox in its 2.0 form, bringing loads of new features to the game including "fresh characters, expanded explorations, and an optimised game experience".
In terms of the Xbox release, it's been confirmed that Zenless Zone Zero will feature "DirectX RayTracing, HDR support, and native 4K resolution at a stable 60FPS", as well as "customised vibrations for enhanced immersion during battles", support for Xbox Quick Resume, and cross-progression between Xbox and other platforms.
An exclusive Xbox Starter Pack is available to pre-order today for Zenless Zone Zero, and it features various in-game content to give you a headstart on June 6th for £9.99 / $9.99, but Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will also benefit from free regular Perks by logging into the game "after each major version update".
So, there we go! Zenless Zone Zero now has an official release date of June 6th, 2025 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox Cloud Gaming. You can check out some brand-new gameplay of the ZZZ 2.0 version up above.
"We are so excited to finally bring our free-to-play urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero to the Xbox community. Whether you want to explore the post-apocalyptic world of New Eridu, master exciting real-time combat, or discover the stories of Version 2.0 and its many unique characters, we hope that you will enjoy playing the game as much as we enjoy creating it!"

Honestly have no idea what this is.
I have been looking forward to trying this, but that's Mario Kart World time.
Worth a shot 😁, I’ll give the cloud version a try.
I'll try it. Always wanted to jump into the Hoyoverse stuff.
The combat in this game is flashy and satisfying but it has the same problem all these gachas have in that while there is some great content it is also spread far too thin. The game is a complete time sink.
