Two Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (May 8)

It's nice to see TMNT: Mutants Unleashed available on Game Pass, as I was interested in buying it on sale but decided to wait for a deeper discount. I still want a physical copy eventually, but I'll give it a go on Game Pass!

is it a remake?

I'll be trying both of these when I'm done with the masterpiece that is E33. What an amazing game. It's my GotG so far.

I'll be playing TMNT definitely always fun games and I was obsessed with them as young lad in the early 90s

@Kaloudz I still have to properly start the game been playing Saints row lately instead ha!
It's like eating pot noodles everyday for dinner when I have steak and lobster in the fridge haha 🤣 but I'll definitely get around to it!

Aw man - you're in for a bloody good time. It's so, so good. Once you get used to the few systems (they're easy to adjust to and there's not that much the get to grips with) the whole game is just outstanding. The score, the cast, the acting, the gameplay, the story, it's easily one of the most memorable games I've ever played. I wish I could delete it from my mind and go over it again.

@Kaloudz How far into E33 are you? I just entered Act III and level grinded to 66 last night by fighting those hand creatures.

I'll be trying out TMNT with my little guy. I must've missed that this was coming to gamepass but nice surprise.

@FarmDog08 Act 3 mate. I'm looking for a good place to grind (I'm level 50 but feel a bit underpowered). I also need to find a good build for the party because my damage output feels...weak. Any tips?

How is the revenge of the savage planet? Who played the first one?

@Kaloudz That's how I was. I finished Act II at 50-51 with my main 3. There is a place near the beginning that has these hand creatures that a group of 2 gives over 500k exp and a group of 3 gives like 750k. Spend time there learning their timing and you will eventually take them out easy by parrying everything. Its like 1 level per fight or more until you get in the upper 60s. I think the area is called Dark Shores. I use fire damage and stacking.

Also, my 3 main character weapon levels are 32. The hand creatures drop upgrade materials to get there also if you have a weapon in the 20s.

I'm looking forward to playing revenge of a savage planet as soon as I can download it

@FarmDog08 Oh my days! Here I am trudging along on 100k a fight. I'll look out for them. Thank you so much! I assume the upgrade materials they drop are the ones I'm yet to discover? The ones that raise the weapon cap from 19 upwards?

@Kaloudz Sounds right. They are called Grandiose Chroma Catalysts and those enemies drop 2-3. Grinding there is worth it due to that and the exp. It takes a while to learn the parrying timing. But when you do, it's like taking candy from a baby, hahaha. Also, give everyone the picto you got at the end of Act II that removes the damage cap.

@FarmDog08 I did that, but I'm literally doing like 10-20k per hit, with the exception of parry attacks for Verso who does about 30-50k. I knew I had to find a place to grind when the final fights slapped me like I was a cherokee drum. What weapons are you rocking if you don't mind me asking, and do you know a good place to grind for the materials you need for the one that takes weapon levelling to 19?

@Kaloudz Im really unsure of which weapon. I know Maelle has the story weapon and I just upgraded the highest level weapons I had in the 20s at the time. I'd have to look online for the catalyst you are looking for. I'm starting to look up tips online now that I'm in cleanup before I go to the final location.

@FarmDog08 Thanks man. I'll gather as much of the ones from the hands as I can first, and then go hunting for the ones before it. I think I levelled up the wrong weapons in excitement for the stats lol so now I fear I'm stuck with crappy tools.

@Kaloudz Im definitely not using the absolute best weapons, but I know every time I get a weapon drop it ups the level of the existing one, so I'll eventually catch up Im sure. Especially before I start going after those super bosses.

@Kaloudz I think I'm using Corpeso and Choralim or Braselim. I forget and cant look at the moment.

@FarmDog08 Thanks so much man! I best get myself to those hands and find me some upgrades and exp. I really appreciate you for all this. It's crazy how much there is to the world that you wouldn't even know without exploring. I'm absolutely in love with this game.

@Kaloudz Best game I've played in a LONG time. I hate soulslike games, but I am loving this take on turn-based. And the story...THE STORY!!!!

@FarmDog08 Couldn't agree more. The story is outstanding isn't it? I'm so so glad they're making a movie about it.

@Kaloudz Yes, that was a surprise announcement before the game even came out.

@FarmDog08 Let's just hope they do it justice. I still think Robert Patterson for Gustave, and the girl that played Mariko in Shogun for Lune.

@Kaloudz I haven't seen Shogun. Lune is one of my favorite characters. The only ones I haven't put any time into though are Sciel and Monoko.

@FarmDog08 Anna Sawai her name is. Wonderful actress, and oh man, if you love Feudal Japan-era drama, Shogun is asolutely, absolutely worth your time. It's the best series I've ever watched (bar Buffy). I'd rank that to TV what 33 is to games. Revolutionary.

Yeah I have barely touched Sciel either. Seems that no matter how levelled up she is, she gets flicked and she's dead every time.

@Kaloudz Sciel and Monoco die fast for me too. Did you ever find the hand creatures to level up? I forgot to add, if you can perfect parry or dodge, add 20% more experience! I got 1.2 mil last night from the group of 3 that way.

@FarmDog08 Yes I did my man and I shot up in levels, so thank you for that. I'm currently just farming the materials I need to get my level to 19 across a few characters so that I can totally focus on the hands. I found a great spot in the Sadness Vale for the farm. It's just past the flag (an enemy that has a guaranteed drop).
