I'm hoping that 12 Minutes will get a release date, for very soon after the announcement. And unless they've said otherwise, it should still be launching on GamePass. It was revealed at E3 2 years ago, and all reports have said it's out soon, so I'm hopeful this is all reasonably likely.
GTA V will be what everyone is hoping for, but Fallout seems the more likely, given the Bethesda acquisition, and the promise that the existing games in their portfolio will make their way to GamePass. Doom Eternal was the last one added I think, and that was October 1st, so seems about the right time to add another big hitter?
@LX_FENIX yes, ish. The game rewards you with loot boxes for completing levels, plus bonus loot boxes available for picking up within the map, or for completing special objectives. There's no option to buy them, and by the end of the game you're swimming in them anyway.
@Bobobiwan there's previous form for this though, when they were persuading people to go Ultimate, they added up your GamePass and Gold subscription months, which was an absolutely huge saving.
If they're going to announce it, it seems crazy to do anything other than have it drop roughly in line with when Series X launches. Assuming that's mid to late November, then they can't really sell 3 month passes in good faith beyond the end of August, which means they'd have to remove them from sale too. Of course removing those, virtually confirms the story itself, so makes complete sense that they would announce the removal officially in mid August.
My question is, what happens to unused time? People who bought a year's pass a month ago, or who have a stack against their account (my bet would be it's converted to GamePass time instead).
I enjoyed the Grounded tech test, so I'm looking forward to giving the full (albeit early access) game a go. The Lost Wrong demo was also really fun, so I'm tempted to maybe get that.
I'd like to say fable, but a very short pre rendered trailer doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know, and has been rumoured for about 2 years now? I was honestly hoping for a 'coming 2021' with a 'chicken chaser' reference thrown in somewhere.
For me, Avowed was what I was most excited about, having played pillars of Eternity 2. The Destiny 2 news though was the biggest surprise. From a marketing tie up with Sony, to GamePass for current and next expansions.
As it's a 1st party showcase only: Let's be serious, we're pretty much all hoping for Fable to fill the RPG how in first part offerings Bring back Project Gotham Racing as an alternative to Forza Let Halo Infinite be worth the wait, and really, really good.

Re: GoldenEye 007 Will Be Free For Digital Owners Of Rare Replay On Xbox
@Dr_Luigi the article also says that it's available on the Xbox store for less than a fiver too.
Also worth remembering that Rare Replay was actually given away a few years ago to people watching the E3 conference.
Re: Xbox Adds More Perks For Game Pass Ultimate Members (August 2022)
Darn, I can't see the paramount+ perk, did that expire already?
Re: These Games Are Coming To Xbox Next Week (August 17-20)
Absolutely stoked for twelve minutes, I just hope it can live up to the hype.
Re: 2K's Upcoming Announcements Have Reportedly Been Leaked
I'm confused, how is X-com with Marvel akin to RTS? X-com is definitively turn based, and AAA RTS games are pretty out of fashion at the moment.
Re: The Riftbreaker Is Heading To Xbox Game Pass Later This Year
Loved the demo in the Steam games festival, so will definitely be trying out the full game. GamePass just keeps on delivering.

Re: Halo: The Master Chief Collection Is Getting A 'New Place & Way To Play'
It's not cloud/Android as it's already 'cloud compatible'. Epic seeming the most likely to me.

Plus Tetris Effect November 10th too

Re: Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (Sep 10-13)
Weird that they'd go with Reaper of Souls edition, and not the current Eternal collection?
Re: Immortals: Fenyx Rising Brings Its Mythological Adventure To Xbox This December
Could be interesting.
Oh, and there's no colon in the title, it's just immortals fenyx rising
Re: Here's What's Included In The August 2020 Xbox One Update
It's silly, but I'm a sucker for animations, and it looked like animated backgrounds are now a thing. Has anyone managed to apply them?
Re: It's Official! Halo Infinite's Multiplayer Will Be Free-To-Play, Support 120FPS
Note 'free to play', not 'free to play with Gold'...
Or am I reading too much into that sentence?

Carrion here too, in-between exploring in n No Man's Sky. Might try a couple of the demos I downloaded too

Re: The Xbox Summer Demo Event Has Begun, 50+ Games Now Available
Looks like not all of them are available? The first one on the list certainly isn't showing as available for me, #Funtime
