I love my racers, but when I first played this on release, it just didn't keep me coming back for some reason. I think I'll jump back in at some point though.

I can't afford to be paying full price these days for games, so Game Pass has been a blessing for me. I currently have 20 games installed on my Series S and only 1 of them was purchased from the store which was Cyberpunk 2077, and that only cost me £16, heavily discounted with MS Points 😁, all the others are Game Pass.

Nice, I do like my motorsport games, so will put these on my radar.

Towerborne looks interesting, I read a review for it and it sounds like a fun roguelike game, so I'll give that a go.

I've only played around 3-4 hours so far pre the update, but it looks great and plays fine.

Was out in the garden for most of the weekend doing some jobs, weather was great 😎... football was great 🎵🍺😜
Anyway, I did manage to squeeze in a couple of hours with Oblivion, which I'm really enjoying. What I do really like about Oblivion, is how the map and scenery lures you in to explore. I've swayed so many times from the main quest, simply because I've spotted a derelict building in the distance, or cave entrance. It has a great atmosphere too, love it.

@Bmartin001 A standalone title that follows on from the original does sound like a sequel 👍

I started playing last night on my Series S for a couple of hours and really enjoyed what I played. The performance seems decent enough. I do get bored quite easily with these type of games, but the landscape is just brilliant and quite breathtaking at times too, so it makes you feel like you should explore, and I did some of that. I came across ruins and caves with hidden treasures and monsters 😖 So yeah, I think I'm going to enjoy my time with this one.

When's this out? Tomorrow? Damn! I only just downloaded Oblivion 😫

I'm really looking forward to jumping into this later... 😊

A game I've seen and heard lots about, but never played... I tend to get bored quickly with large open world games, but I feel compelled to see what all the hype is about with this one.

I know nothing about game programming, but is there a chance that the original had certain files compressed, to fit onto the disc at the time, but now it's digital, it doesn't need compressing?

I've had my XBOX for just over 2 half years now with Gamepass and it's been more than worth it. I love looking through the catalogue of games and downloading a random game to play, there's always something.

I'm going to return to GTA, you can have so much fun with those games. I did play GTA V on my PS4 a long time back now, but I don't think I really completed it.

I'm not against people having fun, but there's a time and a place for this kind of chaos. Crikey, I can't stand listening to people eat and whisper in the cinema when I'm trying to watch a film I just paid for 😁 so yeah, that would do my head in.

I started to play this at the weekend, but unfortunately it's one of those games that gives me nausea from the screen movement. Seems like an interesting game, but I just can't get past more than 10-15 mins at a time.

Anyway, Football crossed with Rocket league sounds too much fun.

Had a bit of a DIY weekend, so not played that much. I started playing Atomfall on Sunday, but unfortunately it kept giving me the motion sickness. I'll try again at some point... so I moved onto some Vampire Survivors, then played some Balatro later on the Switch.

@Brigurugi Yes, Crackdown, I loved that game. But Burnout Revenge for me, I played that game A LOT!!! 😁

I'm a bit of a recluse when it comes to my game time, so the new chat and camera feature doesn't appeal to me at all. I also use my Switch in handheld 100% of the time for the games I play, so the JoyCon/Mouse gimmick I don't see myself using.

To be honest, I don't really play any premium games on it either, so upgrading feels pointless. Also, I'm not ashamed to say, the cost is just too much at the moment and I can't justify paying those prices for games.

Now, I completely understand that a lot of work and production goes into making games these days, but I won't pay premium price for a game I would knowingly only play till completion for 20-30 hours.
I'd quite happily pay a premium price if I thought I'd be playing the game for the foreseeable future and it was regularly updated with new content.

🤣 People do complain about the weirdest things in my opinion. Is it really a big deal? It's two buttons... I mean, you have to turn on the TV first to watch a programme... You have to start a car engine before you can drive it... and so on.

Loving the look of Sociable Soccer, it's got a proper arcade vibe about it.

I won't be upgrading anytime soon, and to be honest, nothing in the showcase made me feel like I'd be missing out, other than not playing MarioKart World... but hey! I'll survive I think. Also, those game prices are just down right extortionate.

Ahhh! This might be why I couldn't play Geometry Wars 2 the other day, it just kept saying "Something went wrong, try again later."

I'm no expert, but Riders Republic seems to be doing well, it's thriving with players, bloody good game as well. That's just my tencent 😁

This game is amazing, it really is and it appeals to me massively. How-ever, I don't play much, then an update comes out, so I play for an hour to see what the update is, then forget about it again.... I don't get it 🤔

Back in the day, I played Sensible Soccer every day with my mates on the Amiga and still play the game now... I would love to know my time played 🤔 I'm definitely interested in this.

So glad I don't care about perfect performance or perfect graphics, the fun factor is more important to me. I'll definitely be giving this a go.

I haven't played Minecraft for a long time to be honest, it's probably a different game now.

@dmcc0 Funny, because that's what I liked about Wreckfest. A lot of racing games have the CPU drivers sticking to a racing line, but I found the Wreckfest CPU drivers to be very unpredictable, they would take each other out and you too if the time was right 😁

@VoidPunk I loved Steep too... you should also try Riders Republic if you like that sort of game, also by Ubisoft, it's so much fun.

To be honest, when I think of my time with Tony Hawk, the 2 minute timer forms a big part of that memory, so I'm on board with this decision.

It was a DIY weekend for me, so there was no real game time. I sat down on Sunday evening around 7pm, grabbed the Switch, and played some Balatro. Looked up 5 mins later and it was 11pm 🤣
