Yesterday, the big Warhammer Skulls showcase delivered some fantastic news with the Game Pass-bound Space Marine Master Crafted Edition - and we have some additional information on it to bring to you folks today.
Not only is the upcoming Space Marine remaster seemingly skipping a PS5 release for now, making it a rare Xbox console launch exclusive, it also supports the Play Anywhere program and is already up for pre-load ahead of the game's June release.
That preload is clocking in at roughly 44GB on console, and is installable with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as we speak. The game then releases on June 10th, just two days after Microsoft's big Xbox Games Showcase on June 8th.
Given that the Xbox version of the original Space Marine title has been stuck on 360 hardware since 2011, we're quite looking forward to this new release - and a surprise day one Game Pass launch is just fantastic. If this upcoming remaster can get anywhere close to Space Marine 2, we're in for a real treat next month!
